Hong Kong Coffee Exploration 05: Barista Jam, Sheung Wan

A good HK size shop on Jervois Street, Sheung Wan with simple but nicely thought out bar which you can sit and see barista pulling shots from a 2 Group Strada E with beans grind from a Robur E. A nice selection of hand brew beans grind by M3.

Behind the espresso bar is the cafe’s kitchen running like clockwork at lunch time.

Rather cool baristas pulling shots and brew with intense serious focus.

Espresso: house blend, smooth balance of acidity and nuts with light body. Felt less heavy than yesterday’s cups.

Hand brew: Ethiopia Yirgachefee Wote, tasty brew with sweet ripe strawberry and hint of grape fruit acidity and tea like quality.

Need to come back and taste more !
